Sky clears in Hochimst

Backlog of skiing stories has grown a bit too long... One weekend in mid February I was again staying over in Imst, Tyrol. It also has a small ski resort which I've never visited before so I decided to try it out

First chair lift feels slow. Blue slopes look ok for beginners and sledging families.

But from the second chair the ski touring area on the surrounding peaks becomes visible. Looks pretty good!

Sky cleared at the top and what a view!

Snow is not bad either!

The off piste terrain is actually pretty good also in the ski area. There are plenty of shutes and steep tree skiing. Seems like a really good spot for a snowy day!
